    Injury animations/cutscenes

What happened to them? Every time there's an injury I get the notification but there's no cutscene of the player leaving the field.

Because sometimes there is no ryhme or reason for an injury imo.

Brantley was on third and a putch in the dirt, catcher blocked but camera changed like it was going to be a WP.

After the play I get the notification that Brantley took a shot on his shin, he's up so not broken but will take time to heal blah blah...

Soo he hurt his shin HOW!? That's why no cut scenes. I had a player get a concussion and ball never hit anyone so...

I've also had extremely bizarre injuries. Contreras fractured his forearm after hitting a triple. No slide, nothing. Stand up triple. Fractured forearm.

Same with Baez. Fractured forearm after throwing out a runner at first base on a routine ground ball to second.

What's weird is that the pitcher waiving off the trainer animation doesn't even seem to be there. Pitcher gets drilled, nothing.

Cutscenes in general seem to be missing from this game.

Could they be linekd to the presentation mode?

I get the same as you lot, but I dont play on full broadcast or whatever its called, I use the middle option (ie not the fast play).

Sometime down the road, in the next iteration of the game, I will expect that we will see animations that sync up with the injuries.

Meaning, when Altuve rounds second base, we will hear one of the announcers say, "Uh Oh, looks like Altuve came up lame there at second base", cue the replay, and sure enough, the replay and the injury sync up to show an animation of holding his hamstring/knee/ankle/etc..

And, in a perfect Utopia, the injury would match the situation, as well as the animation.

So, we don't have a guy walk into third with a stand up triple, and come out of the game with a concussion.

It's been like this to some degree in years past. Example: one time I dove with Justin Ruggiano, he kissed it and then all hit him in the face. He missed time with a fractured cheekbone.

However, this year injuries are not contextual at all and appear to be completely random.
