Subbed out in Player Lock

I created my player specifically for Player Lock in franchise mode. I like to have control of my team, but then only play my player as in RTTS. For me, it is the best of both worlds.

I didn't make my guy completely outstanding, but I'm solid for a AAA player. I think I'm a 77 OVR and by far the top CF in the farm system. I placed myself in AAA to start the career. Anyway, I am getting subbed out every game for some reason and it's preventing me from playing. Has anyone else had this issue? And if so, is there a fix? Or maybe there is a setting that I'm missing?

I should clarify, I'm being subbed out before the game even starts or right as the game starts and not getting any playing time at all.

Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks!

This used to happen to me in MLB 16. They had done this correctly in MLB 15 where when you are player locked and the CPU subbed you out. You had the option to watch or exit the rest of the game.

But in MLB 16 they had the automatic fast forwarding of your player locked player. I still don't understand why they did this as depending on where you are in the line up you miss so much of the game or as you know come into the game down by many runs with no clue how it happened.


Try these trouble shooting options below.

• Use a default SCEA roster and import your created player go into your Franchise player lock and see if it still happens.


• Are you player locking by selecting from the quick menu or starting a full game and then player locking from with in the game?


•*What string player are you on the roster 1st,2nd or 3rd.

• Which game play patch are you currently playing on?

Thank you so much for the reply. I appreciate it.
To answer your questions, I am Player locking before the game starts when it gives you the option on how you want to play the game and I'm using the latest patch of the game.
I am 1st string on the roster as well so I'm not sure why I'd be getting subbed out before the game even starts.
