anyone else ever constantly change the sliders, like to 10 when facing Aroldis Chapman or 1 for Jered Weaver or Koji Uehara?

only way to play... 5 and 5 is literally slow motion. You can be 87 yrs old, 27 yrs old, 4 yrs old... default gives you time to rub one out as the pitch is coming in

My vision and reflexes aren't the best, so playing at default helps me a lot with reading where the pitch is going and how to hit. *shrugs* If that's not good for you, then change it. No reason to be an donkey about it.

Re: Why do most people use defaul pitch speed?

I found myself pulling 4 or 5 pitches per at bat foul at default pitch speeds, so I upped them and it has helped. I have a hard time waiting on the pitch.

My problem is I can't lay off the balls that seem to tumble out of the strike zone...the low pitches....very hard to judge this year.

Lol I love how everyone gets so defensive and upset and says I am being cocky... I am not bragging about hitting 10 speed you idiots...

I am simply saying THE VIDEO GAME DOES NOT REALISTICALLY SHOW PITCH SPEED.

Using 5 doesn't mean you have slow reflexes..... but it doesn't change the fact that it looks like the ball is floating.... it doesn't feel right to see that and then the speed says 98mph. Takes away a ton of realism.

Now I am done with you peabrains on your periods.

the ball DOESNT look like its floating to everyone on default though, and i believe thats the larger point.
