    Player Size?

One thing I'm curious about... does player size play any role in a player's impact. Their speed, power, etc? Anyone know?

Mostly curious because of how much you always hear commentators and advertisers talking about the size of a player and how much it means about what they're good at...

Also, it could just be a difference in our playstyles, but my brother's SS who's 5'10" seems a bit faster than my 6'4" 1B, despite both having a 90 speed.

I can't say much about power, because his guy has a 50ish, mine is a 78/80... and I bomb homers regularly, where his come in short bursts.

    Re: Player Size?

my hunch is size doesnt matter.
a small guys speed of 90 should still match a large guys speed of 90. if anything a tall guy with a longer stride should seem quicker than a smaller guy, not slower IMO
