He thru 18 pitches in the first inning. Gave up a single, walked one and then took him deep with for 430 ft with Renfroe. Then I grounded out on 3 straight batters.

Yeah that's not nearly enough pitches to make the argument that he got tired from having to work through a tough first inning. Hopefully this is fixed again if it's indeed an issue now.

It may be a one time thing or indeed an issue again. But I am not waiting anymore. This is the 4th patch that, for me, has had questionable results. There are too many issues still with this game. I am done.

I wonder why they removed the HDR intensity slider.

IMO, the HDR slider is a gimmick. All of those who own KS8000 TV's know that the HDR+ mode is a gimmick, i.e. an artificial enhancement for resolutions that are not 3840 X 2160. I believe the HDR slider (in MLB the Show) is an artificial enhancement for those who do not have 10bit TV's.

If you have a TV that is 10bit you will get HDR. Now there may be some adjustments that must be made, as needed with the KS8000 it self, but that is all.

When my game fires up it reads an HDR movie is running. That is all that required for us to get the best graphics possible.

Yup, sure do. Before the multitudes ask. HOF, Default sliders, Zone Hitting, Classic Pitching and Analog throwing. Game is still very much a disappointment.

SP issue is back in full force. Playing MIL @ SD, I am SD. Go up 3-0 in the first and then get shut down. Guerra with 80 stamina and good confidence is pulled after 5 innings after having thrown 58 pitches and having given up 3 hits and getting 5 SO.

Im sorry but this game is a mess and I don't see them fixing it this year. Everything about this years game just seems off. They took a big swing this year but for me they have struck out. MLB The Show 17 needs to be sent back to the Minors for some more work and I am calling up The Show 16 back up to the bigs.

You know i find this intriguing, and im not calling you out on this my friend, you have no reason to lie.

Its simply the variance in what people are seeing, as i literally have not seen this issue at all.

I play full games, Manager Hook on 2 and have never seen a pitcher yanked that i disagreed with based on game performance, pitches thrown etc.

Strange how some see it glaringly, others not at all.

Not that anyone cares but I'd like to see the developers give a list of things they recognize as a problem to be fixed vs things they think are okay and are not going to fix. I don't know whether the problem I see with the game is seen as a problem by the devs.

I'm going to give it one more try in manage mode post 1.6 before I abandon hope.

Im sure sliders may fix a lot of issues. But I learned, actually from you and a few others, to quit managing the game and waiting for things to play a game. I don't wait for Rosters,Patches, Sliders etc. I just want to play and have fun. I understand that Patches are a way of life now and that it is a necessary "evil". I can wait for a patch to fix things if I can still have fun with a game. That is not the case with '17. This is the 4th patch and I am not having fun. I am not saying the game is broken or anything at all along those lines. I am just not having fun so I am going back to where I am having fun.

As for the HDR Slider, I'm pretty curious. The key to getting good results from an HDR TV is to make sure your TV is set up correctly. I have a Sony Bravia XD80 TV & I had to set the HDMI input setting to full to get a good picture.
