Fantasy Draft Franchise - whats your strategy for selecting players?

What strategy do you use for selecting players for those that like doing fantasy drafts for their franchises? What do you select first? Do you sim any of the draft or fill out your entire roster?

My strategy for a fantasy draft is to only draft players under 30 except for relievers. Depends on the draft position but I normally just select best available. I will normally draft until around the 45th round where I will then just sim the rest of the draft as mostly everyone is gone by then.

I am HORRIBLE at hitting and using dynamic difficulty usually hover around veteran but i can be competitive on legend pitching so my strategy is to draft offense for the first 7 rounds then in the 8th and 9th get the 2 best bullpen arms I can followed up by 3 of the next 5 rounds on starters. I will usually draft the first 35 rounds or so to make sure I have depth players that I like in case anyone gets hurt.
