there are two things that are absolutely true: 1) this effect is there, and 2) it doesn't seem to bother a high fraction of players.

Probably my best option is to submit feedback directly to the developers since people here seem to have to work hard to even see the camera shift that I'm talking about.

I'm telling you straight up, the very first ground ball that was hit in the very first game I played in RTTS, I was like "wtf was that camera shift". I'm telling you I literally cannot see the ball. I'm playing on a 40 inch TV about 8 feet from the screen. So if you're not having problems, consider yourself lucky; I basically have to rely on the automatic defense because I can't pick up the ball until it's past halfway to me.

I always play SS and I didn't notice it there really. Then they asked me to switch to 3rd base and now I am always going in the wrong direction. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't pick up the ball. Now I know! The camera really shouldn't be moving. Your head doesn't jerk all over when they make contact so it really doesn't make sense from a realism standpoint.

I started at 2B and they moved me to 3B. I had trouble at 2B but it's definitely way worse at 3B. I think it's because the camera starts much further away from the ball so that both pitcher and batter can be in the pre-pitch camera view. Also, there's alot less time in general at 3B to pick up the ball anyway. So it's a double whammy.

I filed a bug report but I'm very, very skeptical that they will bother to look at this, unless it starts bothering more people and they speak up. I think that's unfortunate because I think it could be quite easily fixed by just tweaking a few factors in the camera centering.

This is what kills me playing center field ; sometimes it'll have your controller inverted also; because the controls anticipate the camera flip ; so technically you are running the right way >> then it ques the camera flip >> which before the camera flips you start to in non directed direction. >> then it flips and you get taken even more out of play

I noticed that when I create a player thats above 6ft and has 85-@90+ speed when running the bases the camera and player shakes are terrible.

Can anyone playing on a PS4 Pro try this? Put the game on beginner and hit a triple to the gap then press the right stick up along the way to gain speed. The shaking or trembling of the runner has been there since MLB 14 just wondering if the Pro framerate will fix it.

I'll post a video of what happens when a runner is on 3rd base camera is smooth when you look right but jerks and breaks when you look left!

It is absolutely there and is the reason why everyone should vote on the thread i started asking everyone to vote on whether or not they would love like to see an answer option to use the standard BROADCAST view when fielding the in rtts.

Check it out and go vote please!

i bet, this problem has to do with assisted fielding. the option where it will start to move your player in the position the ball is heading.
