How to do mariners team epic?

You got to get 5 putouts but i have no idea what is the best way to get this done, it honestly seems impossible, any suggestions?

5 put outs with Adam Jones? How is that impossible? He just has to catch 5 fly balls in the outfield?

does e have to do it in the OF? if not then move him to first.

i though putouts meant he had to throw out base runners and not just catch the ball at first? Its honestly not specific enough, all it says is putouts so i figured he has to throw out people from left field, i will try putting him at first and see if that works, thx for the suggestion il get back to you if it works/or does not.

It's specific enough. I think you're just not clear on the difference between a putout and an assist. A putout is when an out is made and the ball is in your glove. An assist is when your throw is directly responsible for an out.

I just completed this mission actually. Happened naturally over the course of about 4 vs. CPU games (in which I needed to beat the A's for a different Team Epic).

It's simply him catching a fly ball if he's in his normal position. Moving him out of position might do more harm than good as there's the possibility he'll play poorly there.
