My point exactly.
In my franchise I edited Betances to be a closer because, just like Miller, he should have the opportunity to close either on his current team or another. By the end of 2017 Chapman has failed as closer and Betances took over and has excelled.
This wouldn't have happened unless I edited Betances. The Yankees would probably have acquired another closer which would have been ridiculous when they have Betances and are paying Chapman a boatload.
Obviously this is a preference not a necessity, but you see my point at least.
