What's the worst damage you've ever caused playing The Show?

We've all gotten upset playing video games. Some of us take them in stride. Some of us yell. Some of us curse. Some of us rage quit. And then there's . . . the REAL fans. Those of us that kick the dog. Those of us that punch the couch. Those of us that hurl household appliances as hard as we can towards nothing in general, causing the wife to get mad and forcing us to sleep on the couch. I'm willing to bet that most of you have at one time or another been that crazy mofo that just lost his (or her) mind and done something inexplicable and embarrassingly bad you didn't want to admit. Well that's what this thread is for. So out with it. No more embarrassment. No more having too much pride to share. Let's hear it now. What's the worst damage you've ever caused to yourself, someone else, or a random object out of frustration while playing The Show?

I've been playing games a long time. I get animated playing games. I really get into it. And so I will admit right now that over all my years playing The Show, I have broken 3 controllers and 2 TVs (yes, I did) while playing The Show. One of the controllers was hurled at the TV, caused the TV to shatter. A few months later, I got pissed again and, instead of hurling the controller right at the TV, I hurled it at the floor, but it bounced off the floor and hit the TV, breaking that one. Yes . . . it really happened.

So I've shared my stories. What have you guys done?

Sometimes I see any misfortune while playing as part of the game. Other times I'll curse under my breath and every so often I'll do the rage quit or just fast forward to the end of the game. I have never broken a game or controller, because my rage has never gone above 9,000 and I'm way too cheap to break something than pay $50 + to replace it.

I'm usually able to contain myself, and I bottle up my rage inside, to be unleashed at a later time on some poor unexpecting person.

I do leave bruises just above my knee fairly often though, and I did punch a plaster wall one time. (Much more painful than drywall.)

I never really get pissed about bad luck, or anything that normally happens in baseball, like giving up a walkoff HR or striking out with the bases loaded. It's when I make a baserunning blunder, (like sending all runners, then panicking and sending all back, then getting my lead runner thrown out at the plate when he should've scored easily in the first place). Or when I hit the wrong button and throw to 3rd instead of 1st on an inning-ending grounder, and it ends up costing me 3 runs.

What plays tend to provoke the strongest rage from you?

TLDR: Yes, I punch myself.

Over 10 years of playing the show, over 100 controllers. This year just one. For real though OP, you are a phsyco! Lol. I can justify a controller even though it's stupid because it's only $60 bucks, but two TV's dude?!?! Those are hundreds if not thousands of dollars. In all honesty though your story had me laughing out loud like a weirdo at work so thanks

cut my hand up pretty good when I jumped up from the couch excited and smashed my hand into the ceiling fan after I hit a walk-off HR one time
(I also did that the first time the Giants beat the Pats in the Super Bowl, guess I'll never learn)

an ex-gf broke up with me when I spilled a drink on her Italian leather sofa getting to excited after one too many GIDPs. but to be fair to her I think I spilled at least 4 drinks on her sofa from playing video game baseball.
come to think of it, that might not have been the Show but either the Bigs or Slugfest.
maybe that doesnt count, then. except to that ex-gf.

and then there was the time I jumped up with excitement and landed on my 2 year old nieces foot. poor girl bawled like it was the end of the world. but I'm sure she would have understood it was the end of the world for me as the braves lost the pennant and the chance at the WS is what made me jump, if she was only older.

but the worst damge I did was unintentional as any of the previously mentioned. it was psychological damage, to another ex-gf, who also dumped me. she said I made her self-esteem low because I'd rather play the Show than ''know'' her. which just wasnt true. I'd just had rather finish my game, and then finish with her.

I just yell and cuss, I am not really into damaging stuff I paid a lot for TBO.

I get why you would, and trust me if someone said I could sledgehammer my TV and get a new one ASAP, then yeah I admit i would. But, I love my tv so yeah.
