    Franchise Player Lock Question

Quick question, in the player lock mode, are you able to select your team's uniforms? From what I see, you just pick the player and they send you on your way. I remember in previous years you could lock on to them from your lineups and play just the regular nine inning game and pick the uniforms like normal, now you can't, so does anyone know?

I don't think so. I'm a player lock player and this frustrates me. It does not show other players who might be tired and need a day off, no picking uniforms, cannot choose stadium. I am very disappointed unless I am missing something.

      Re: Franchise Player Lock Question

      Hi Guys,

The best way I have found to go about this is

      1. Just choose the 45 Min game option.

      2. Pause the game and go to the line up menu.

      3. Select the player you want to lock on too by pressing R2.

      4. Un-pause the game and enjoy

Several more steps than previous iterations before you actually get to play the game but this method will allow you to select your uniforms and adjust the lineup if your Created Player or Player Locked player is getting tired.

Otherwise if you select player lock directly from the launch pad. Your player will never get tired so the stamina must turn off or something because I see no impact on ratings or performance.

Definitely very hard to see any value for changing the way you lock on to a player. It works the like previous iterations if you choose a Play Now game.

I also will never understand why you just can't enter as a player lock and play the first inning. Maybe I am missing something!

Now try that for 162 game season or a Series.
