    What hitting style is this?

I swear to god people are using some sort of scumbag cheats because this just looked so ridiculous.

Im playing in DD, i was matched up vs a full diamond team(i have full diamond team as well) and i swear to god, this guy was lifting every pitch no matter how far out of the zone, i mean lifting changeups in the dirt really deep on late swing timings. It wasn't like 1 hitter thing, it was consistent the entire time.

My pitcher was 93 ovr hardware Dallas Keuchel and he has a good slider and changeup, and im telling you i wish to god i recorded it because it looked like 100% cheating.

Now i know for sure he was not using zone hitting because his hitting reticle always stayed in the middle, but his swing timing on all his hits and home runs was either late or slightly late... it was never good.

Is it directional hitting and hold UP to lift everything? But when i do it i never lift any low pitches like that so im not sure.

Im gona check my game history to see if there is a replay of the game that i could upload somehow, i doubt it but il check and post it on here if its possible.

He must be using Zone and keeping the PCI very low and only sitting on pitches he could lift, with slightly late timing since the Show doesn't penalize the opposite field power as much as it should when going the other way.

PCI on the swing feedback doesn't move (only slightly up or down depending on the opponent's swing timing), regardless of hitting interface your opponent is using.

The game balance of Diamond Dynasty with stack team has always been a bit of joke. I don't think this is a "malicious" exploit, but likely a "legit" exploit of game mechanics ruined by the unrealistic environment specific to DD (e.g., player attributes, difficulty level, etc.).

I dont know man because i was mixing it up and he was lifting every pitch, im talking about going in on the hands and going down and away, sometimes i was mad and threw some into the dirt and he fouled them... it was the most ridiculous game ive ever played in like 3 years of mlb.

I use zone hitting all the time, and i just have a very good feeling it could not have been zone hitting because you dont lift anything very low, ive seen directional do that, i dont know about analog.

Care to post the box score from the game history?

In general, it's much easier to hit low pitches (or anywhere you intend to preload PCI at for that matter) with Zone, since other interfaces don't give you that much control over PCI placement.

It is actually a very effective strategy to sit on low pitches to go the other way, especially when your team is loaded with players with high Contact/Vision and Power. Since you can hit away and still go for the fences, what's the point of risking whiffs trying to pull fastballs?

Your opponent likely knew what he was doing, where a game mode like DD breaks down in terms of realism.
