Relievers keep coming in without full energy
I usually start warming up a reliever the half-inning before I want him to come in, and unless it's a long half-inning and he's been warming up a long time, he usually comes in with full energy. But lately, some of his energy has been depleted when doing this, even when I had a 1-2-3 inning while batting. Is there a certain way to warm up pitchers now to keep this from happning?

Re: Relievers keep coming in without full energy
I just had this happen with Cody Allen. He hadn't pitched in a couple of days and had full energy. I brought him in in the bottom of the 9th to shut the door and after he threw his 9th pitch it said that he was tired. His energy bar was cut in half. Now Allen is usually good for around 20 pitches before he gets tired. First time this has happened. I brought Andrew Miller in in the 8th inning and I didn't have that happen to him.

Re: Relievers keep coming in without full energy
I had Betances come in and was a quarter down energy without throwing a pitch, and then he was "getting tired" after 9 pitches. This was after a day off on the schedule and he hadn't worked the prior game either so he should have been fullComment

Re: Relievers keep coming in without full energy
There are so many things still wrong with this game. I'm noticing relievers aren't getting credited with saves when they come in the 9th with a 3-1 lead. RP still taking on SP pitch counts while simming in QC. This game could be really good, but just too many bugs that aren't being fixed in patches.Comment

Re: Relievers keep coming in without full energy
I should note that about 6 games later and it's only happened that one time to me.

Re: Relievers keep coming in without full energy
Try this:
When initially wanting to warm up, start the reliever in warm up. About a batter or two, when he's close to half-2/3 warm, then put him on Ready and Waiting. If you use R&W at full, it would seem as though it doesn't catch. I don't really use Stretch and Toss unless it's the inning before and there's a chance I might use him quicker.Comment

Quick counts and quick manage seem to be the root cause for gobs of the problems people are seeing.Born Seattle, live Denver.

Re: Relievers keep coming in without full energy
I keep saying the same thing over and over but guys can you give us indication of your sliders/gameplay set you're using. This can have huge impact on what you see. This could help others as well to debug your issue with more accuracy.Comment

Relievers keep coming in without full energy
Is anyone else seeing this? If not, what's causing it? This is a pretty serious bug in my opinion.
Figured it out. The reduction in stamina upon entering the game is tied directly to the reliever stamina slider. If it's set to 0 there's no reduction. I had been playing with it at 3.
