out of curiosity, i wanted to have a quick little poll to see how people are really playing this game ? Now This Is Minus Your Personal Preference Of Different Pitching Meters Or Batting Cameras.

I think for less biased responses, this kind of question needs to be asked in the main forum. People who come to this subforum almost for sure have a form of slideritis (to varying extent of seriousness)... and given the slider subforum is not nearly as active as the rest of the forums by post/view count, I'd imagine a majority of people actually do not use sliders.

yeah that makes sense, and i agree, at the time, since it was directed towards sliders i figured i better put it in the thread, but if an Moderator would move it to the main forum id appreciate it.

dynamic difficulty hover between all star and vet, sliders I'm constantly tinkering with.

I play all 162, so I've ample time to tweak and tinker around. Currently All-Star hitting, pretty close to default, and HOF pitching, with the CPU pretty damn neutered. Other stuff I just tweak a click here and there if I notice something getting on my nerves, like "Okay, that's one too many fly balls my CF should have had, Fielder Run Speed +1." Etc.

Im playing on dynamic difficulty, along with my own slider adjustments. My pitching bounces around from AS to HOF, while my hitting hovers anywhere from beginner to veteran. Before the patches came out, and IMO hurt the hitting side of things, I was hitting between Vet and AS, but now I suck even worse since the patches came out and seem to effect hitting in a negative way.

My sliders arent to far from default setting, as foul ball tendenc I have all the way down to 0 for both me and the CPU. RP stamina I have tuned down to 2 for CPU and 3 for me. And I have injuries turned up to 9. I also have to slow down the pitch speed, I think its at 3 for FB, and 4 for offspeed pitches. Consistency for CPU pitchers, I have at 0, because even then you dont see enough hit batters by the CPU.

I have a 2nd slider set for the CPU teams in franchise when simming those games.


I also use analog control for everything, as well as using auto fielding, except I make the throws, and I use auto baserunning. I love the new auto baserunning, where you can take control and overide auto if you choose at times.

I started out as AS on '08-'14 w/default sliders. I switched to HoF in '15 w/default and haven't changed anything since. I only play RttS so sliders aren't anything I need to change. The only thing I have ever touched is pitch speed because it seemed slow to me early on. Other than that, it's been default for me.

Hybrid 1.2 with Equipment edits and its playing very well with almost default sliders (no slider more than one click away from default)

I'm playing on veteran hitting and all-star pitching, using OSFM version 2.75 and Mike Lowe's 2.4 sliders. I find the game is playing fantastic with this set up.

Carryover from 2015 currently in 2020, playing every pitch of every MLB game in my A's franchise. All-star directional hitting and HOF classic pitching, with custom sliders.
