SCEA EQUIPMENT ISSUES

Something that I've noticed over the years is the inaccuracy of the equipment of SCEA rosters. I know they have a lot on their plate, in terms of creating players and adding them to rosters, but equipment is flat out wrong for many players from launch to the next year.
*This post is strictly geared towards Online Rated Exhibition and Diamond Dynasty--modes where we can't update the equipment on the players.
Since OS does a massive amount of work regarding player equipment, why doesn't SCEA peek at our equipment forums, and update players weekly or twice a month? Seems like it would add more realism and mitigate the annoyance of seeing players like Andrelton Simmons and Joc Pederson with old equipment. It would also help SCEA with new players, who don't usually have the exact equipment. OS does all the dirty work, creates a spreadsheet detailing player equipment changes, and SCEA implements.
Can anyone tag some mods or directly ask them if this can be implemented in this year's game (or at least future iterations?)
