Why does SDS think the 2017 dodgers are the greatest team in the history of baseball?
I mean seriously? Every franchise I do, they win the World Series 9 times out of 19 at least 2 of the three first seasons every time. Really kills immersion. Just turner is a decent player, but come on man. The guy is not a perennial MVP candidate. SDS says they rate players on 3 year basis, this guy had one year of 20 plus honeruns and he is a better power hitter apparently the Boleyn arrenado and kris Bryant. Just kills immersionTags: None -

sds heavily favors boston and washington too. its nothing new. every year brings about 2 or 3 pretenders to the yankee dynasty. I think this is why fictional rosters have such a cult following.OSFM23 - Building Better Baseball - OSFM23

I'm going to ask you to stop making so many threads criticizing SDS without being very constructive. Please start being more constructive (provide proof, more explanation, not just face-value bashing) and if there are going to be more of these, please keep it to one thread.Moderator

Re: Why does SDS think the 2017 dodgers are the greatest team in the history of baseb
A few of their position players are a bit overrated offensively, especially Franklin Gutierrez. His default home run power attribute is set way too high, and actually makes him among the top 5 most dangerous hitters in the game, which he's far from being in real life. As good as Seager is, I still think he's a bit too good in game. And Justin Turner may be hitting for average this season, but his power is rated too high in game, for a guy who's never hit 30 home runs in a season IMO.
I've simmed franchise a few times, just to see how the player stats turned out in a full season, and seen the Dodgers win 122 games and scored almost 900 runs in one season.Comment

No point in keeping this thread open.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment
