    Sac Bunting Tips?

Seems like every time I try to move a guy over, the ball gets hit way too hard and the lead guy gets thrown out easily.

Using directional hitting, am I supposed to hold down to try to deaden the ball or what? Doesn't seem to really help.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Can only bunt with guys that have a high bunt rating. I believe anything under a 50 or maybe a 60 will get bunted directly at somone.

I aim and push the stick up towards the 2nd baseman for a sac. more towards 1b than the pitcher, if I can help it.

OK thanks. So I'm supposed to push up to aim. I was pushing down, so maybe that was my problem. I'll have to keep an eye on ratings as well. My franchise is NL, so I'm mainly bunting with my pitchers. Might have to jack their ratings up if I can't get realistic results as is.

Only bunt with the pre-approved index card of acceptable bunters.

Bunting is broken, and to fix it, they broke it more. Horrible fix. They should be addressing the problems that allow it to be broken in the first place.

I've had a good experience bunting since they patched it. Maybe I'm the only one though.

What's happened to bunting in MLB 17? Everytime I bunt with Jarrod Dyson it's a bullet straight to a corner infielder.

                Pray..

What I hate is when the cpu bunts and the ball lands a few feet in front of the catcher and he expects the pitcher or 3B to field it..

If its that big of a problem, just pause the game, go to quick manage, hit sac bunt, voila

It didnt dawn on me to try that, would you say that success rate is around the IRL 65% or is pretty much a given to work everytime?

Probably higher than 65% but definitely not a given. Sac fly is more like 50%.
