having trouble hitting against the shift

Does anyone else struggle hitting with players on your team that the CPU shifts on? Played 30 games with Washington in my franchise and Matt Wieters is hitting .115. Every ball he hits is right into the shift. Very frustrating.

I went in and changed his approach to a "balanced" hitter but that did not keep cpu from shifting. Any other way to turn CPU shifting off?

I know this is not the answer to your question about turning off the shifts but, why don't you just not pull the ball? Be late on your swing.

I've tried like hell to do that. When I do that its a ground ball to the 3rd baseman whos really playing shortstop.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.
