Anyone else having the issue of the CPU leaving their relievers in too long? Seems like ever since the patch that fixed the Starter Hook, now the relievers are left in. It seems like every game I play, the CPU has two pitchers. The starter goes 6 or so innings and then 1 reliever goes the rest of the way. And it's so unrealistic. I've had so many games where I'm up by 1 or 2 runs, then I destroy the reliever and the CPU leaves him in! I'll go up 3 runs. Still in. 4 runs. 5-6 even 7 runs and the reliever stays in.

As per Mike Lowe's slider set, when the cpu puts in a reliever (6th inning or later), increase manager hook to 7. While not perfect, it's a big improvement. -

Relievers are also coming in regardless of their stamina. I've seen relievers enter every game in a 3 game series.
I'm thinking the manager is bringing in his highest rated reliever regardless of stamina? I'm not sure though.Comment

I have seen this also. I was playing Arizona and in all three games, every reliever that came in only had at best 25% stamina and still pitched 2 innings. The only pitcher I really saw all three games was Chafin and he pitched 2 innings each game.

yeah I've definitely noticed a problem with relievers being in too long as well. Not a huge fan of changing the sliders mid game because I'll probably forget and leave it like that, or forget to do it in the first place. Hopefully it gets patched, because right now I'm seeing relievers go 80 pitches sometimes.Comment
