    Draft pick ratings too high?

I don't know if this is worthy of a new topic but...
I'm seeing a lot of high rated draft picks with low potential and some with high potential too.
Their rated mid 60's, even 70's, I feel that's really high for a draft pick. The high potential players will be superstars by their early 20's it seems.

    Anyone else experiencing this too?

They do need to alter the way prospects are handled. Like guys shouldn't be drafted then immediately thrust into the starting lineup the following opening day.

Gonna be honest I don't really have a solution outside of putting some type of hidden restriction on how soon CPU can call up their guys. Like the phenoms still need a solid season in the minors. I mean it has happened a few times since 1980 but it's extremely extremely rare!

I think they'd be better off using an automated full minors sim for franchise mode. I doubt most people are interested in managing minor league teams in franchise and just want to manage player development.

Yes I agree, even Harper and Trout were down for at least a year if not two. Maybe they should do just that...
1st year restriction, no higher than AA.
2nd year restriction, no higher that AAA.
            3rd year no restriction.

They don't need artificial restrictions but they could lower the ratings of prospects and have them rapidly improve. Ratings like vision should be way down for young players.

Stop doing that. There was another thread recently about it. I guess that helps. I was scouting before that as well.

Does scouting reveal more highly-touted prospects?

So should we auto scout, or just not scout at all?
Really wish sports games played to ratings!
