Worst K-zone Call I've Ever Seen

Self-explanatory. I've played over a thousand games of the show the past 2 years and this is easily the worst blown call I've seen.

Thats the beauty of personalized umpiring, the human error factor between each umpire. I personally love the realism it provides. That happens in real life. All I can suggest is turn off personalize for umpiring if you want strikes to be strikes and balls to be balls.

Go watch CB Bucknor call a game and you'll feel a lot better.

        This.

Personally, I love the horrible calls. I was getting hosed last night. Seemed like every second call was horrible. Then the cpu got a treatment of it also. So bad that I took 2 walks and then hit a double. The calls were pretty bad, but just like each and every game I watch on TV it adds to the game.

I like the error but I would like a little more consistency in some umpires. I mean, some umpires benefits the pitchers by giving them some corner strikes, sometimes inside, sometimes outside. But in the game you never know. I was playing with my brother and he struck me two times with inside pitches but for some reason I put a couple of pitches in the same spot and never got the call.

I feel like the 4th ball is more often a missed strike for some reason...not usually that bad, but I regularly draw walks on a 4th ball that should be a strike.

Friendly reminder that this works both ways:

This ump's zone was all over the place in this game, btw. Definitely not the only questionable one.

Re: Worst K-zone Call I've Ever Seen

In real life I saw an ump get clocked by a pitch on a miscommunication between the pitcher and catcher. The next two pitches were right down the pipe and the ump called both pitches balls. Judgment calls and balls and strikes can't be argued; it is a beautiful thing if you're an umpire.
