Having the Computer Pitch for My Team

I really don't like pitching. Not anything to do with the game, it's just that pitching doesn't really interest me. However, I really like to watch my team on defense, so I switch the control between me and the CPU every half inning, and let the computer pitch for me. The thing is, I don't know if my team's pitchers have just been on a crazy hot streak, or if the CPU's batting is really bad, but the other team can't ever get much going on offense when I'm watching them. When I fast forward they put up a pretty good fight, but real time they strike out tons and get only one or two BBs a game max, with about five hits/three runs on average per game. I've played 10 games where I spectated defense against the Nats, Dbacks, and Padres, and they scored five runs or less (usually less) in every single game. I'm kinda stuck, because I'd love to watch my team pitch, but if it means that opposing teams aren't going to play good, I guess I'll have to just go back to fast forwarding through pitching. Can anyone tell me if there is any way to get the computer playing better on offense? I use Cycloniac's slider set which helps the other team play a little better, but they still don't feel threatening.

You would want to bump up both the CPU Contact and CPU Solid Hits just a bit. Start with that and see what you think.

    EDIT:

I see that you are using Cycloniac's sliders which already have both of those bumped up. Maybe try increasing them just a hair further, or even the power?
