    roster problem

I'm playing Franchise mode only controlling my team. Looking around at some of the other rosters I've noticed some teams are leaving star players in the minors. One instance of this that is really getting on my nerves is Roberto Osuna (TOR) being left in AA. I've tried injuring several different RP's to the point where I've maxed out the amount of injuries I can do for Toronto, yet they STILL won't call up Osuna. I've tried trading for Osuna, waiving pitchers, and then trading Osuna back and they STILL won't put him on the MLB roster. Does anyone know if there's anything else I can do short of starting over using 30 team control to avoid this situation? I tried 30 team control last year and I found it too cumbersome.

    Re: roster problem

    Are you using OSFM rosters?

I am not a fan of how they handle it but they take all injured players off the 40 man roster and put them on the single A roster. The AI controlled team will not move those players to the 40 man roster at any point during the 2017 season.

But in year 2 they will move them up.

You can either deal with it for the first season, or manually adjust every roster prior to starting a franchise.

Thanks, I didn't realize it was a problem with the OSFM rosters. Yes that's what I'm using.

Does that mean if I use the Default or Current rosters when I begin my franchise this won't happen?

Yes, but I would suggest instead adjusting the OSFM rosters. It would be worth the time in my opinion.

Just go through each team putting their best players on the MLB roster, then allow the computer to auto fix. Shouldn't take any more than 10-15 minutes.

There is also an older version of OSFM with injuries removed, so that could be the best compromise
