    Awards

What is the in-game logic for gold gloves? I know it's been said that the whole award system needs to be re-worked but I think that's especially true with gold gloves. Jason Heyward has a better fielding percentage, more putouts but fewer assists that Jay Bruce and Bruce is leading the gold glove voting.

I think there needs to be some way to track "great plays," like dives, catches on the run, robbing home runs etc. It doesn't have to be a visual stat in-game but they should be kept under the hood and factored into the award system.

Gold Gloves and Cy Young are the two awards that have me scratching my head the most. I have decided the game really likes wins for Cy Young and will often times ignore pretty mediocre peripherals. As for the GGs I haven't found any kind of pattern but I don't really pay much attention to anything other than MVP, CYA and ROY.

GG seem to go to whoevers team is higher in alphabetical order. Baltimore and Boston especially.

WS MVP is also poorly done...

Some guy who played one game won vs a guy who had a great statistical series

Yes. Baltimore, Boston, and Mike Trout. He's the only one not in the AL East to win a GG in the 5 seasons that I've played.

              Re: Awards

Franchise mode is getting stagnant. I understand the push is on online modes, but franchise needs a year where it is heavily invested in.

The last year where franchise was the priority was 09 where waivers and salary arbitration were added.

The salary and arbitration system needs work, award winners, august waivers were nerfed because of a bug where cpu pulls everyone back if human placed a claim in response to day one bug where cpu would not pull claim.

There is no way to trade for a claimed player. I'm hoping that the franchise mode adds new features and fixes legacy issues.
