Roster Update not saving, what am I doing wrong?

So I'm trying to start a new franchise with today's roster but I'm struggling to figure out how to save the roster after I click on "update roster" and see all the changes to rating and what not.

So basically I'm trying to figure out how do I start a new franchise with the newest roster?

You have to click on "save live roster" under data. This got me for a bit as well
