Universal Profile - Leveling Up

Last night, I reached Level 100 bronze and moved up to silver in the universal profile rankings. My question for the forum is that when you hit silver, do you acquire XP faster and receive more points during games than you did at the bronze level? I only ask cause after my game ended, I went from Level 100 Bronze all the way up to Level 4 silver. I typically go up 1/2 - 1 level per game, and I noticed that in my next game, I went from Level 4 to Level 6 silver.

Just wondering if my trips from silver to gold and gold to diamond will be faster due to XP levels increasing for each level? If anybody could share their experience with this, it would be appreciated.

You just level up faster at the beginning of a new tier, I believe.

It's the same XP per level for each tier, though.

Or, at least, that's what it felt like when I was doing it.

i think the tier just changes your color from say bronze to silver. but leveling from lvl 1 bronze to level 100 is the same amount of XP as lvl 1 silver to level 100 silver, and so on and so on.

Thanks for the replies. I'm just going to have to hunker down and start working towards a gold rating. Hopefully I can get there before Madden 18 drops next month.

You level up the same whether you're a bronze, sliver, gold or diamond rating. Going from level 1 to level 2 in any tier is extremely quick, while going from 99 to 100 in any tier requires a lot of experience. It doesn't matter whether it's bronze or diamond.

The thing that I dislike about this leveling up system is that for people like me that only play RttS, I've been playing since launch and only lvl 68 bronze. Seems the system is only beneficial to those that do the online things - BR, DD, etc.

It def gives out more to online modes

I mean yeah, but... it doesn't really do anything.

I can understand why it can still frustrate you. I mean, trophies are popular for a reason. But in the end it's kind of meaningless, at least to us offline only players.

Agreed. I played offline franchise the last couple years and started playing DD this season. Noticed a huge swing in XP just from playing DD modes vs. RTTS/Franchise/HRD

Not much help for RTTS, etc but you can also get decent points by playing full games either as a one off or as part of a franchise.

I should clarify, I'm not frustrated. More like disappointed offline modes such as RttS do not get much towards the profile. Just what it is.
