    ARRRRGGH

Why does this damn game decide when to run for you??? I have base running set to assist. There needs to be an off setting. Because they do this, i just lost game 7 of the world series by them deciding to double steal for me.

    There anything i can do????

umm normally that is not the case. what you may have done was aimed with the left thumb stick and accidentally hit the r2 button and you never realized it.

Not at all. Im there waiting for the pitch, feel the steal vibration indicating a steal. Then they go. Right hand is nowhere near top of controller

I'm almost positive you can have assisted baserunning with manual stealing. Why would you have stealing controlled by the cpu??? Video game AI is nowhere near good enough to trust that to the cpu...

Its happened before. But not in awhile. Happened a couple times in this game 7. No sticky buttons and my hands/fingers nowhere near the buttons on top

Hate to be frank, but that's why it's called an accident. There's really no other explanation.

                      Re: ARRRRGGH

I have never seen an auto-steal ever in my playtime (offline franchise only player).

If it is true that there is no accidental input, then you should make a bug report on the Show forums. This definitely should not be happening.

If you feel the vibration and know you didn't call for it, just press down on the D-pad and step out.

I'm saying somehow L2 was hit without your knowledge. Maybe it's a sticky button, maybe L2 hit your knee.

The controller will only vibrate if it registers the trigger being pulled. The controller does not vibrate if the CPU steals for you. It either rubbed against your leg or hit your desk or your controller is faulty.

OP same thing happened to me. My runner on first would steal on his own and I would send him back to first but he would get tagged out. It happened so much I finally had enough and turned baserunning to manual and it doesn't do it anymore. I'm surprised it isn't happening to more people but I have two controllers and play on both and it happens to both of them. No vibration or warning either.
