First off I think everyone at SCEA has done a remarkable job with MLB THE SHOW 17 this year and putting out so far eleven patches. I love this game and I am a huge baseball fan as many of you already know that. A lot of things that were wrong with the game at launches have been addressed and I am happy with all the patches.
With that being said above, I wanted to ask can you please bring back a feature that was with the game at launch or the version 1.0 before all the patches began?
What feature do I speak of? I am not sure who came up with the idea but I thought it was an amazing addition for MLB 17 THE SHOW. In the carry over from MLB THE SHOW 16 to 17 as we know some players mostly veteran players get generic names because they either retire or go and play over seas.
So my point is at launch you could enter in the players first and last name once you figured out who they use to be by looking at there player card and seeing there career teams and service time etc.
Then once you finish putting in his name ans saved him he now would get his real player card with a picture. He didn't get his cyber face back , but that was okay. I loved the feature that at least they would get a cool looking player card.
I bought the digital copy at launch, been doing this since MLB 15. So since all the patches this feature will no longer work and I am asking please can you figure out a way and bring it back this year?
I bought the hard copy yesterday and with the patches it wont work, but if I delete the digital copy re-install the hard disc game turning off the internet and not downloading any patches the feature works again and I jut think it look amazing on all those veteran players it works on with them getting there cool looking player card back.
I don't want to play the game without all the patches because there like 11 of them that fixes all kinds of stuff, but I would like to have a stable game and have the feature of these players cards working again.
Here is a set of pics I took to show you what I'm talking about.
