Umpire in two cities at once?

Mike Filmore is in NY for a 1pm game and in Texas for a 4pm game on the same day? Im playing a 30 team control using two teams, a AL and a NL team.

isnt there like only 20 umps in the Show?
and there need to be 60, all with editable names and editable tendencies in the k zone

Ill agree that they should have more if the case is they only have 20. I dont see any reason why they would need to be editable. Why on earth would you want to edit a umpire? I could see the name I guess, but why edit the tendencies. Thats part makes the game great. I love calls on the black being a gamble of ball or strike. Im talking offline here. I could care less about online. Umpires are human, they make mistakes, and I love how the game inputs that. If you want a strike to be a strike and a ball to be a ball, that is what the umpire setting is for, and thats enough editable tendency for me. I hope they do add more umpires. As for the names, that doesnt really bother me if they are real names or not. It would be cool if they were, but wouldnt be a killer if they didnt.

I like to play with 1980's rosters and It would be nice to have guys like Bruce Froemming Doug Harvey Harry Wendelstedt Don Denkinger Frank Pulli among others. After all, the Show is built on the little things.

I personally think the 20 or whatever they have now is fine. But if you're going to allow editable names then why wouldn't you want editable tendencies so that you can match real life tendencies to the real life umpire?

But again I'm fine with the way it is now.

It's more like the op says. I play a AL team and a NL team. It's the same umpire for both games games on the same day.
The 20 is fine, I just wished they alternated per game, not per day. It's not a game killer to me, just a little downer.

No I understand what you're saying in that each game has a different set of umpires. My post above was more in the regard of what should/shouldn't be editable about umpires if they introduced that feature.

Oh, my bad. I was eating and quick read. I like the umpires the way they are. You make sense though with editing to real life tendencies. I didn't even think of that. All I could think of when the word editable came up was, being able to make the strike zone the size of a soup can lol. Then hear people complain nothing is a strike lol.
