    Near no-no.

Well just had one of my best/most fun games ever. I was playing the Mets at Citi-Field with my Cubbies. Barton Gonzalez, a hard throwing lefty I drafted in 2014, was dealing having not giving up any hits thru 7 innings. Which was a new personal best for me in the 10 years I've been playing the show. At this point unfortunately I had to save my game so my wife and I could go out to eat with family.

Once we got back home I fired the game back up and got thru the 8th unscathed. On to the 9th we go. I got the first two guys out in the ninth only to have David Wright single up the middle to end my no hit bid.

Still the best pitching performance and longest no hit bid I ever had but what made the game so great/fun was the Mets pitchers combined to throw a 2 hitter themselves. Luckily for me both of my hits turned into runs so I ended up winning the game 2-0.

    Re: Near no-no.

I had a game last year where I was the Giants pitching with Bumgarner vs the Dodgers. Had a no hitter thru 8. In the top of the 9th, AGon bounced a dribbler that hit the front of the first base bag and bounced back towards home for their only hit.

I had a no no with the Angels back in MLB 15 but it was not as memorable as the no no i lost last season.
