Re: The batter strike out animations....
I agree...more variation and animations would be a welcomed addition. Same goes for HR's where they tend to show the same things. (Show player rounding the bases and then pan into the dugout and shows the manager)PSN: ckarlic

Re: The batter strike out animations....
Yep, really tired of seeing the manager's face every HR...and I do mean every single one. I usually just skip the homerun trot because of this, sadly.Comment

Re: The batter strike out animations....
This is just my opinion. We are the players are growing weary of the Show series. I am seeing more complains than I can remember and I can't say I disagree with the gripes. Some things that we have experience for the past 3-4 years. Maybe they'll knock our socks off with MLBTS18, but in all actually we won't know until we play few games.Comment

Re: The batter strike out animations....
The visual presentation is so stale. Every close hit batter we get the same jawing at the pitcher. Same old mound visits, etc., etc., etc. Yes, seeing a close up of a smiling manager after a home run???? C'mon guys.Comment

Re: The batter strike out animations....
I want to see more animations for when there is a bunt situation and you see the pitcher/batter glaring down the third base line looking for a sign. The pitcher animations between pitches needs to improve and pregame should have a variety also. In MLB you see a lot more emotion between pitches when there is a weak call by the umpire. Mouthing words should be more of a thing in The Show along with gestures to accompany them.Comment

Re: The batter strike out animations....
I agree we need more animations to make players feel different. ESPECIALLY more stride and follow through animations. And of course running animations...Comment

The animation engine has worn out it's welcome. They really need to revamp it completely, but I doubt that will happen in the foreseeable futureComment

Re: The batter strike out animations....
It may seem that way to you, but it isn't true.
If so we wouldn't have gotten new ball physics, new player models, new lightning, humanity AI, new defensive AI for CPU, player quirks, etc...

Re: The batter strike out animations....
I would much rather see more variations in pitcher windups when creating players. Get rid of 75% those "stretch" windups no one uses. The ultimate would be customizable, totally editable stances and windups. The same way we can create faces. My biggest gripe with animations is the showboating that players do post game, mainly the outfielders. Totally childish and idiotic, but then again , that's the new spoiled brat, classless "look at me" era of pro baseball. So I guess it is pretty realistic.Comment
