No.
The interleague schedules do not rotate. They continue to try and get this into the game but they continue to run into bugs/issues/hiccups/problems.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Could they take each team's real life schedule from the previous 5 or 6 seasons and just rotate that in the game?

I have no idea. I mean it seems as though they could but not sure how their schedules are generated.
I'm confident they will figure it out one of these years.

Re: Does MLB 17 rotate the interleague schedule from year to year
Couple of things I've noticed with the schedules while playing RttS: the interleague teams are always the same except for a random team for a two game series (or the split four game series that MLB has started doing). Also, every few years, the schedule will go back to the current years real schedule i.e. 2017 actual MLB schedule.est 1978

They care.
As I said they continue to try to get this in but every year they encounter a bug/issue.

It messed with some of the locked in interleague matchups like Subway Series etc.

Re: Does MLB 17 rotate the interleague schedule from year to year
I can't speak on this year, but in previous years they just rotated each team in a division's schedule. i.e. Yankees play Red Sox 2017 schedule in 2018, Red Sox play Toronto's 2017 schedule etc.

Yeah surely they will figure it out, they been at it for several years now,lol. Obviously its got to be a difficult thing to do, or they surely would have added it by now.
The 1 thing I have always respected these devs for is they dont go overboard on adding new stuff, like NBA2k does at times, and it ends up being broke or glitched, and doesnt get fixed. So in that regard, Im glad they dont just add to add, whether it works or not. Although I do wish they would spend a little more time, within franchise mode, to improve stuff like this.
I worry they spend to much time on the online side of things, that causing Franchise mode to not improve, and the whole reason why I made that other thread, in hopes more people would speak up, as I know your a franchise guys as well, so us offliners who love franchise mode dont get screwed. I do think they care, they have always been good guys these devs have, so I think maybe us offliners need to make sure we get heard, otherwise they have no real reason to improve this kind of stuff in franchise mode.Everyone who exalts themselves will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted- Luke14-11

as I said in that thread, they know the community requests for franchise mode. I don't think we have to worry about going unheard.

Re: Does MLB 17 rotate the interleague schedule from year to year
I assure you I'm right.
I know people don't like to hear this but the fact is SDS has a dev team of roughly 80 people. That is at least half the size of the other major sports development teams (2K/EA)
Due to their size, time/resources are much more delicate.
And it's not like franchise mode was completely ignored. While the additions may not be as flashy as say create a team, they did make additions to the mode:
* New UI
* New awards
* New budget system

I know they dont have as big of staff as those other do. It just seems they are starting to cater more to the online, casual fans, fantasy teams, you know the things like your seeing with other sports, VC, or as they call them stubbs in MLBTS. I get it, it is after all a business, and the main goal as a business is to make money, but over the years these devs lend more towards the hard core baseball fans, franchise players, more so than the other sports companies 2k and EA were. It just seems they have started to lean towards those types, more than the franchise players. Like I said maybe 18 will be the yr they put more emphasis back on Franchise. Most dont even like the new budget system,lol, I think you even made the comment you werent fond of it if I remember correctly. Scouting/drafting still isnt top notch. We had more ST'ing ball parks on old gen,lol.
Dont get me wrong MLBTS still is a solid game, but even skipping 16 due to my wife and I having a tight budget due to some health issues, I would have thought 17 would have wowed me more, with me not playing 16. I guess I just expected a bigger jump in that regard is all.Everyone who exalts themselves will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted- Luke14-11
