    Crazy distance?

    I hit a homerun the other day. It's the furthest I've ever hit. It was 542ft. Anyone else done this?

      Are you, by any chance, playing the unpatched, out of the box physical version?

      Because I haven't seen a HR like that since the first few versions (thankfully).

          I haven't...as I don't take PED's.....

          I saw these types of homeruns out of the box, but in the few times I've played since I haven't seen it.
          I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

          I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

              No I've done every update. Not sure but that was crazy.

                  Yeah, you encountered quite the rarity in the current version. I wouldn't say it's impossible with a huge tailwind (plus Coors - that's certainly a possibility with Arenado invloved). It's probably as rare as it should be now - no one's come close to hitting a shot like that anywhere this year in real life. I think there were a few 490's but that's it.

                  I'm glad to hear shots like that are still possible, actually.

                      I've been playing single player DD games recently vs CPU, and I've noticed the Home Runs behave more like they did out of the box. I've hit a couple over 500 feet, the longest being 535 with Mike Moustakas. The ball physics behavior seems to be more pronounced like it was out of the box also. I'm not seeing this at ALL in Franchise or RttS.

                      My sample size is fairly small, I've only played a couple dozen DD Vs CPU games so far. Could be my imagination...
