    Returning to base

When your in the field and your opponent hits the ball into the outfield but you can possibly get him out at any base is there a button to push to have your fielders return to their base cause I always find they are always off their base when there's a hit

No button that I'm aware of.

In regards to first base, I believe a year or few ago SDS made it so the 1B stays off the base on hits to the outfield/right field to prevent players from being thrown out at first base. I honestly don't remember the "issue" that was brought up for this change to occur.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

        Re: Returning to base

Once a a blue moon, players are thrown out at first base from RF IRL. It happened too frequently a few years a go, but the "fix" implemented now ruins what would be realistic opportunities of this happening as well.

Sometimes, but very rarely, the first baseman will cover the bag on a hit to RF, at least in 15 and 16 they did. But it happens so infrequently that it's not really going to make a difference.
