    Unmanage a team

    Im doing a 30 team control and I am controlling the Indians and Braves. Is there a way I can stop controlling the Braves mid franchise? I know I can just sim the games, but I want to stop managing them all together.
    Really wish sports games played to ratings!
    Only thing SIM about sports games now, are the team name and players
    CFB 25 The absolute GOAT!!!
    MLB 23 FOREVER 20 is better, 23 just for Guardians
    Madden get rid of the extras (SS/XF, HFA, media, scenarios, game plan) or turn them down considerably.

      You can create a new profile and set everything to Auto/CPU for them. That will essentially do what you're looking for.

      I don't think you can actually stop controlling them; like unchecking them like you did when you set it up.

          I have the CPU profile on the other 28 teams. I tried changing everything to auto for the Braves, but it switches all my Indians to auto also. I really do not want to start over just to stop control of them, nor do I want to just ignore them and have something dumb happen.

              Go to Options, then User Setting, then Team Associations. Then scroll thru teams and change whatever Team/Profiles you would like to change.

                      Yeah don't use the settings on the team screens, they reset everyone to these settings. I found I enjoyed changing to control of rosters near the end of August to try to increase the number of players that are post season eligible and then as I get to the playoffs controlling lineups and rotations so that the CPU doesn't put a weaker player in the lineup just because of the righty/lefty matchup.
