    Super tough decision.
I have only completed one full season as well and it was with the Royals a couple years ago. I will usually pick a team then see another team on TV or in the news making a trade (This time of year) and want to use them. This last week I have started about 10 different franchises just to look at the team and see if I want to use them hahaha.

For those of you guys using my workbooks, are you guys enjoying using them so far? Do you find them relatively user friendly? Can you think of any ways that I could make them more user friendly? Other than WAR and some of the advanced stats that require league adjusted statistics, can you think of anything else that you'd like to see my books track (I will be looking to add WAR to the books for my MLB 18 iteration if possible)?

They are easy to use. I have been enjoying the hell out of them just need to find a team I want to use. I have started 3 different franchises and played a couple games with each to make sure I got it down. I'm not sure about what to add.

Here is a sample of what I track in my spreadsheets; but there are numerous detail tabs that drive some of the dashboards you see below:

I’ll probably PM you my email. Just to be sure, you do input everything manually right? How long does it take for a single game?

            I appreciate that. Thanks!

To answer your question, yes there is definitely some manual input required (as I've mentioned before, I'd love to see downloadable stats where I could run Pivot Tables or formulas off of that info, but of course that's not an option yet). Considering how long I've been running these workbooks, I have a "method" that takes me no more than 5-10 minutes to input each game. The linescore info and the homerun stats I input as they occur while I'm actually playing the game, so all I have to do is input pitching/batting stats after each game. Once you get a routine down to do that, it seems pretty efficient to me.

For those that have my workbooks, does the 5-10 minute input time per game seem right for what you're experiencing as well? Or is it taking you guys a little longer?

The other thing that takes a little bit of time for me is the Standings update that I do after all the Sunday games have been played. Eventually I hope to have wins and losses populate based on a "Master Schedule" where all you have to do is input scores from each game around the league. But, as of now, it's just updating # of wins and losses manually after each week.

Even using it for the first time it doesn't take to long to input everything. Like Noble said 5-10 min

What is hindering me from truly immersing myself in this endeavor is the lack of access to the trends of player performance.

Hopefully I am missing something, but without this analytical access, the game is simply an arcade game, not a true simulation.

I would appreciate the thoughts from the franchise vets on this.
I am quick managing half the games, and quick simming the others.
I also am jumping in-and-out of all 2430-games.
Once you do edits to get accurate sim stats, incredible fun.

Yes but that requires one to back in and out of several menus, plus add up the stats instead of it being presented on a page under the player's card for quick access, as other games have done. (ex:All Star Baseball series)
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Yeah, it is a lot of work. People get paid a lot to do that, but we pay to have to do it.
