    QUESTION: ...on guess pitch

    Always wondered something -

    If my setting are:

    Guess Pitch ON
    Swing / Pitch feedback OFF
    Guess pitch No Feedback

Is the guess pitch feature actually functioning behind the scenes or is it dependant on the Swing / Pitch window being used?!

I was all ready to say that it's just a UI element and that wouldn't turn it off, but after checking it out I'm not so sure. You see, there's two big signs of when GP is working, and neither of them happen when you turn swing/pitch info off:

1: Vibration confirmation of your guess as soon as you entered it, along with a little sound. Even on No Feedback mode.

2: Whether you guess right or wrong, the pitch location is marked in the "Label GuessPitch" filter of the batter's analysis screen (under Situation).

So....I don't know. There's no notification to the user that it's working, so I'd say probably not - you'd have to put swing/pitch info on. It's only a guess, though.

If so, it's not the only UI element that can actually enable/disable game features - Disabling the hot/cold zone UI actually disables the feature itself - the devs told us that one a long time ago. So it's not totally unheard of.
