    Fun Post-Game Thoughts

Just finished up a game and had a funny moment, thought or anecdote to share?

Leave it below. Figured it was about time for another fun thread.

    I'll kick us off:

When you're on a win streak, but the ONLY reason why is because of pitching:

2 on, nobody out, and my power hitter at the plate.

Then I accidentally bump the steal button...

My brain doesn't recover in time, I totally mess everything up, and both runners get caught.

I facepalm at my own ineptitude.

            Re: Fun Post-Game Thoughts

I'm facing a SP with a 97MPH FB, a 88 MPH Splitter, and a 77 MPH CH. After the first inning I KNOW I'm not going to hit this guy.

I switch to grind mode. 90 pitches and 6 innings deep, I finally get him out of the game, down 3-1 with my only run made on an error, a stolen base, and a weak grounder up the middle that just barely made it through.

They turn to their bullpen in the 7th. I'm just sitting there thinking:

PS I ended up winning 5-3. Tying run for them came to the plate in both the 8th and 9th but got no further.

in the post-game batter analysis, I know what ''jammed'' is but whats the Shows definition of ''rolled''?

thats the very definition of filthy. I dont really like that I cant create a guy with such a discrepancy though

It is filthy, but now that I'm starting to get used to framerate mode on the Pro, I'm actually seeing those CH a lot better.

But when a Splitter is in the mix as well? I'm done.

Seriously, the pro has made hitting a lot better of an experience. Well, that and turning off commentary so I don't have Matt, Dan, and Harold yakking in my ear distracting me. Another recent change I made. Those two changes has made the show way less stress inducing to me. Not that I mind stress, but there is "good" and "bad" stress, and these two things I'd file under bad.

Apparently the Auto-Tune rapper from the background music knows me, and that I want to go to Crustations to get some red snapper.

Have you guys ever actually listened to the generic background music? The lyrics are pretty hilarious.

I'm starting to call the heart of my order "the dogs" because of how often they are getting walked this season.

I started calling Juan Fabregas (a kid that I drafted) "the fabulous Juan"

In 92 games the kid has 30 homeruns, 89 RBI's, and 30 stolen bases.

Kid is a beast and is going to get paid this offseason.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I can’t even remember I’ve gotten the leadoff guy out in the 9th inning in a tight game.

Also nobody factcheck this but if you walk a guy to start the inning he scores 90% of the time.

maybe on all-star difficulty and higher, but not on veteran

Watch a Mets game, their veteran pitchers certainly don’t understand that!

Is anybody else overly superstitious? I stood up and managed to get out of a bases loaded no out jam unscathed in the bottom of the 6th. Naturally, I stood for the rest of the game!
