Strange uniform number issue

In the game and on the player card, on a few players, it has the wrong uniform number. When I go into player edit, it shows the preferred number as the correct one. Anyone else seen this? Any way to fix it?

The editor is always going to have the correct number. The reason the jersey number on the player card is different is that someone else on the team has the same jersey number (probably higher rated) or the number is retired by that specific team, so the player with the lowest rated potential gets a different number.
