Anyone been playing '17 on a PS4 Pro and an OLED TV? I've yet to pick it up, but I just purchased an LG B7 series OLED TV. From what I've read, these TVs are awesome. I've been playing '17 on my Samsung 4K TV, but it is a pretty old 4K model. I think I bought it right when 4K became a "thing". Many games on my PS4 Pro have looked pretty dark/dim on this TV. I'm hoping to be blown away with my new OLED compared to this Samsung 4K.

It will look great. It sounds like your old Samsung TV wasn't HDR capable so this will be a great upgrade. The OLED in game mode doesn't get very bright, but since it can produce perfect black levels it can perceive amazing contrast levels with HDR and the peak highlights. You may need to play in a dark environment to fully appreciate it but you will still feel amazed. -

My first impression...Man HDR makes the game look so dark. Before I switched to Game Mode, I was completely blown away. The game popped and the colors were awesome. To eliminate the input lag I switched to game mode and man, it looks sooooo much darker. Pretty let down right now. Though I guess I can mess with settings to try and make it look brighter.Comment
