Re: MLB 18 The Show Countdown to March 27
Last night I placed my order with the PSN, and assuming this means I get early access on the 23rd, something will happen for me at 10pm mountain time on the evening of the 22nd. I will either be playing the game at that point three weeks and a little over 7 hours from now. Or I will be downloading the game three weeks and a little over 7 hours from now. Clearly there is some confusion, but I think I can hold out for three weeks either way. MLB The Show 17 is still fun to play. But I am sure 18 will be funner ... yes I know "funner" is not a word.Comment

Re: MLB 18 The Show Countdown to March 27
I would imagine that the game unlocks for us all at the same time regardless of where we are on the planet. But ninertravel is correct for him when he says only 20 days more to wait because it's already well into tomorrow for him, except it's today. LOLComment

Re: MLB 18 The Show Countdown to March 27
Correct it is midnight in America when it is 4pm here. so that means I would have had the game 16 hours earlier then America. the irony is hard copies of this game NEVER EVER come to Australia we only have the choice of digital for MLB the show.Comment

Re: MLB 18 The Show Countdown to March 27
For me, in the Central Time Zone, I am 1 hour behind the Eastern Time Zone - meaning when it is midnight eastern, it is 11:00 PM on the previous day here. And that is what time all of my digital PSN preloads have always
unlocked.
Edit: After thinking about it I realize there's a chance you might be saying you're "playing the game before the US" solely because your clock reads 4PM while ours says something closer to midnight, in which case....more power to you.Last edited by bcruise; 03-01-2018, 07:07 PM.Comment

Re: MLB 18 The Show Countdown to March 27
That's not how pre-loads work. The Eastern Time Zone is the only group that is getting it at midnight. Everywhere else gets it according to whatever timezone they are in when the clock hits midnight Eastern, but we all get it at the same moment in time.

the clock confirms this for me on the countdown... also the pre load should be on the 21st March. (which would would also most likely start 16 hours earlier)Comment

No The PSN store is different here in Australia to the american one.. which is why it will unlock for me at midnight my time, in the past I have bought the game from the American store, and it didn't unlock till 4pm. now that I am buying it from the Australia store it will be midnight when America will still be 16 hours away

In that case...enjoy the early release!Comment

Remember that year it first was on PS4 and it was about 10 hours delayed?? 4pm it would have been here and by 2am I gave up went to bed woke up and it finally had showed up in the store to download./
thank god for pre loading these days to avoid that crapComment
