Stanton and Severino will for sure be above 90. Aroldis Chapman should be 90 or above as well. Aaron Judge most likely will be, although his strikeouts may keep him just below 90. I look for Gary to be around 88 or 89.

I think your ratings are too high. Stanton and Judge will be between the 92-94 range. I think Severino will hover around 90. Gary Sanchez is not even a top 5 catcher, why would he be rated in the 90s? If he's rated that high, then the rating system is screwed up. If the system takes defense into account, then his rating will be in the mid-80s (at the highest).

Did you even watch Gary Sanchez the last two seasons? 17' had him finish at 87 overall.... I think my numbers r pretty realistic seeing the Yankees r the top 3/4 team in the MLB

I love Gary, but he isn’t even the best defensive catcher on the team. Romine is much better defensively. His offense is what makes him special. But even then, I’d give him a rating of around 87-88

You said 88-89 above ... Now your saying 87-88? I'm confused. I think people just overlook him because of Judge. Remember he missed a month and still finished with 36 home runs....

He has the best arm as a catcher in the game as well.

My first post I said I look for him to be 88 or 89. My second I sad I would personally give him 87 or 88 if I were rating him myself. He is a great player, but I don’t put him in that 90 or above category. Even though he and Judge are by far my two favorites on the team.

He has the best arm as a catcher in the game as well.
He struck out 120 times in the season and his average dipped below what he hit in 2016 thru 53 games.

I expect that he will be rated around 87 again to start '18, maybe a point or two higher due to his power, but remember, unless the formula has changed, SDS uses the stats of the last 3 years to help determine player ratings.

We have asked for more advanced catcher ratings, if that should happen in 18 he might be lower rated yet due to pitch framing and mobility.

Have you watched him play defense? How about striking out in 22% of his at bats?

I can see Sanchez playing 1st base later on in his career because of his defense yankees would need a catcher though

Yankees are going to be strikeout machines this year, Judge Sanchez Bird Stanton

They need to get rid of Gardner too and keep Frazier up, Gardner is old and doesn't get on base enough to be a lead off man.

the projected lineup of Judge at 2 is crazy, because your number 2 has to be someone that moves the runners around not strikeout all the time. Boone is crazy if he goes with that lineup .

That is because catcher ratings have ALWAYS been flawed. I remember a few years on PS3, catchers had the highest in-game overall ratings because there was too much emphasis put on defense.

Also, the fact that the top 10 doesn't include Tyler Flowers proves The Show doesn't know how to properly rate catchers.
