Brewers have me interested. Angels, even though Ohtani probably won’t be a 2 way player till next years Show. Oakland. Giants. Much to my chagrin, the Yankees interest me.

It honestly feels like this shouldn't be hard. In the lineup selection screen, they could just toss in the pitchers on the bench, similar to how they handle it when you are using a pinch-hitter. At that point, you just plug in your pitcher where you want him (in this case, DH).

Brewers seem to be the darling team this year. Marlins would be fun to see if a rebuild can happen. Pirates are a fresh start with some useful pieces plus PNC Park. Fun thing is there are so many free agents still so in the next couple weeks another team could jump out as a front runner to run a franchise with.

That’s what I would think too. It seems like a simple solution to me. But I don’t expect it this year honestly. I think they’ll give the wait and see approach and see if Ohtani actually hits well. (Which I’m pretty confident he will.) Last year during the dev streams, Ramone responded to a question about two way players and the asker mentioned in particular Christian Bethancourt (who the Padres tried to use as a two way early last year) and Shohei Ohtani (who we’ve known was going to come over as a two way player for at least 3 years). Ramone’s response was something along the lines of ‘No we won’t work on that unless it’s more than just one or two players.’ So, I think Ohtani is going to have to force their hand by being at least an average MLB hitter. That being said, Bethancourt is a catcher/OF trying to be a pitcher. So that’s probably harder to do than just letting a pitcher hit.

the only way we are gonna get around the Otani thing is create 2 of him and sacrifice a roster spot

heres a thought though your carry over saves will be useless for the Angels because you won't be able to have Otani as both position player and pitcher because it wouldn't carry over

Used to pick my Yankees. 2 years ago, I decided to start a Braves one. I plan to continue it (in my 5th season). I decided to start a new NYY (before the Stanton trade) so I'm now even happier since I love my Yanks. However, I feel the team will be close to perfect right off the bat.

Ill do my usual 30 team control. Usually pick 2 teams from each division to focus on. This year i think ill pick NYY/Bos, Det/KC, Sea/Oak, Mia/Atl, ChC/CN, SD/AZ

I believe the team I am going to play this year is the Brewers, especially if they are able to sign Yu Darvish....I believe this could be the surprised team of the year.

I plan to carry over my Braves franchise(still in year 1, got a late start).




I'll probably fire up one with a AL team: Royals, Tigers, Rangers, catch my eye.


I might do a sim only Yankees one as they are my favorite team, just to see how successful I can be. maybe play playoffs only.

offline franchise I'm only interested in rebuilding. I always do one with the Reds since they are my team and horrible. But I'll carry over my just started Marlins one as well. The best rebuilds are probably SD, MIA, DET, and maybe still ATL

I mostly play franchise. I always do a day 1 unrealistic franchise then I do a realistic os roster franchise a few weeks later when the roster is out. Im considering using the white sox, padres, and royals this year.
