They said that uniforms were the main focus this year graphically, but it sounds like all that really amounted to was adding PBR to it. Which is cool, but it would have been nice if they could have overhauled them to fix the many issues people have with them: Multiple templates for throwbacks, cloth physics, number placement on jerseys that don't display names, static sleeves, etc.

This. I'd be happy if they would do everything you just mentioned. Visually, the game is stale.

Hitting in the Alpha sucked so they had better have it tuned before launch day otherwise you think there was backlash last year it was alot worse in the Alpha test ..

You would square ball up and still be pop up or weak ground ball .. Everyones average was under .200 throughout the Alpha from what i seen .

Red jerseys not being red enough. Yellow not being yellow enough. Giants orange looking like someone’s puke after one too many screwdrivers.

I really hope they can fix the colors for non-HDR users. The colors look amazing on my HDR display, but that shouldn't be the price you have to pay for vibrant and accurate reds. The yellows still need work, especially on the A's alternates.

According to the stats on his batter walkup, Judge hit 52 homeruns and had 114 RBI's in 27 games!!!

those were his spring training numbers

New walkup overlay (didn't see this at all in the IGN thing so I'm guessing it's random):

I think this is because in the IGN video the lineup did not turn over.

I love how they have the players fingers moving when they’re holding the bat. Small details like that are cool

I suspect they could fix any color they set their minds to. Seattle's teal unis looked lousy in previous years for example but were much improved in '17.

Yep this is my problem with the uniform color issues. Some get fixed and some don't so they don't seem to be lighting or coding issues they come across as "well we had time to fix Seattle but didn't have time to fix the Nationals color issue, maybe next year, sorry". I could be wrong but the outward appearance on this makes it seem this way and boy is it frustrating.

Wouldn’t mind seeing rain delays where you have to change pitchers. I can’t imagine we see rainouts or double headers.

Tbh, I never got the fascination of people wanting this added to a video game. I get it for "realism" or whatever but there are a whole host of things I would rather see added to "The Show" than the implementation of rain outs or rain delays.

Ramone also mentions in this video that they are going to put up another video about a feature they added that people have been asking for, for years apparently. Curious what it could be? Roster import feature? Player import into franchise mode feature? Any guesses?

Player import into existing franchise, will make it a day 1 buy for me. As I said after last yr, I was done buying this game day 1, because of lack of improvement with franchise mode. Player import into existing franchise, and a improved Spring Training within franchise are 2 things, that will change my mind about not buying day1, and playing the wait and see, before wasting money anymore.

Im definitely now very interested to see what this feature is, that we have been asking for, for yrs now

"Something to talk about with rain in the future",  (14:20) has my fingers-crossed hoping it is what I think it is.
My biggest wish was improved first baseman play with better pitcher coverage of the bag.  At the 1:00 minute mark squashed that wish.  It's early though.

To me not having rain delays is like not having injuries in Franchise mode. A rain delay, game cancellation, and double headers have effects on your roster.

It requires some strategy and creativity on your part.
I think it is a big part of a 162 game season and should be in the game.

I loved everything about it.

But please tell me that's not he final Judge.

Everyone else on the Yankees looks perfect but him the cover boy.

He's wayyy too fat! Body type should be like Sanchez in the game and the stance needs work. Looks nothing like his.

But please more than anything fix his body type. Can't stand another year of him looking all fat.

It won't be fixed because they can only work from the preset body types they have in the games. It's the same 3 they've had for years now. Judge is set to buff. It's also effected by weight. It's very cookie cutter.
