Im putting my money on expansion/relocation being the "big new feature long awaited." NBA has is, Madden has it, NHL just got it... The Show is the only game missing it currently. And I think Diamond Dynasty is/was a big foreshadowing that they were/are working on it.

I hope so. It has to be functional with offline modes like franchise or it just doesn't matter to most or at least half of us. Customization would be big for us black sheep offline players.

I am sure I will be wrong but my guess and hope is that what Ramone Russell was referring to with the rain is Realtime Weather!

Meaning when you start a game it could be bright and Sunny and as the game goes on it will get cloudy and start to drizzle or rain. Or the other way around a game could start off dark and rainy and then after so many innings the Sun pops out. Also maybe they got the Weather Channel involved this year? Also perhaps the rain actually will affect gameplay now?

That's what I am hoping for anyway!

Also I still do not think we are getting Rain Delays as it has been said many times before that Rain Delays is not happening any time soon if at all!

It won't be fixed because they can only work from the preset body types they have in the games. It's the same 3 they've had for years now. Judge is set to buff. It's also effected by weight. It's very cookie cutter.

Judge doesn't have the "buff" body type in game. He, for whatever reason, has the "husky" body type. The "buff" one would actually look good for him. That's what Giancarlo has and it works. Normal would be fine too, but he should definitely not be "husky" like he is currently.

I would love more dynamic weather during games. If they want a perfect model for how weather should work, they should look at the weather in Codemasters Formula 1 series. It’s done almost perfectly.

I am going to be disappointed if they feature people wanted for years is going to be something trivial like rain delays, which I bet if they are added are going to be way overdone.

With you on that one. Never cared about rainouts, but I've wanted expansion/relocation forever. I'm almost 100% certain it's the former, though. Expansion doesn't match the asterisks in franchise, and I doubt it would be in the little things stream because it's a pretty big thing.

Weather delays are really kinda pointless in a way, or you would get is a cutscene of it then 1 hour later it's a different time of day.

However if it was done in the way that we would get delayed to have double feature games it would bring in a completely new strategy. it would bring in spot starters.

I would love injury and fatigue sliders for each player to be different in this case too. the way it is now being injury prone, means your durability sucks when that shouldn't be true. someone shouldn't be tired if they are injury prone player.

So they would have to fix that to make it work with double headers and delays in the schedule. I fear we could get some wacky things happen in the schedule too if this happens.

To those who are worried about Judges body type, they said his model in the demo is NOT the model they mocapped. They haven’t gotten that into the game yet. So when the game is released don’t worry, Judge will look like Judge.

Loving everything I'm seeing so far.
I (for another year ) really hope they add the ability to use player lock but in regular camera.
Ramone a couple versions ago said he wanted that too (Unless my old @ss remembers incorrectly)... so hopefully some day.

To me not having rain delays is like not having injuries in Franchise mode. A rain delay, game cancellation, and double headers have effects on your roster.

It requires some strategy and creativity on your part.
I think it is a big part of a 162 game season and should be in the game.

This is exactly why I want rain delays in the game.

The fact we still don’t have rain delays baffles me... growing up all my life playing ball and the most dreadful feeling was a sky full of dark clouds just before game time .. rain outs and delays were dreadful but made the game what it is today .. double headers were a blast and still are . One of my first mlb games i went too was a Saturday day game Tigers vs Angels with Colon pitching and the great Vlad playing right field . Game the night before was rained out so they did a Double header for the following day and that allowed me to catch two games my first time at the ball park. We NEED rainouts . Lol .

either that or:

1) 3 run homers
2) strikeouts going down swinging
3) stolen bases
4) diving stops in the infield
5) diving catches in the outfield

but probably rain lol

...We WANT rainouts... Lol
