I changed the HDMI cable that came with the game. When I went into resolution it only showed 1080 and AUTOMATIC...... So went to Costco and they had Wirelogic HDMI cables (2 set) for 14.99. When I switch them out I now see 2160 resolution and WOW what a tremendous difference (note, I have a Samsung UHD tv).

Knight did you get the Wirelogic HDMI Cable 4k Ultra HD. thanks for any info.

I do not own a 4k tv, so no real change in graphics.

But the game is BUTTERY smooth on the Pro.

Yes. Costco has a two pack for $14.99. Package say exceeds 18g bps, whatever that means. All i know is that w/the cable that came w/the PRO I had 2 options, automatic and 1080, with this it says it says/720, 1080i. 1080p and 2160 yuv420.

The game looks true 4k now.

Absolutely. When I first cranked up the PRO I was like...”huh, don’t see a real difference”. With it now at 2160....what a leap.

I can get 2160 without having a 4k TV?

I’m not sure, but I doubt it. If you have a 1080 tv now I doubt the cable is going to let you upscale. I have a UHD, but the cable that came with the game would only let me go to 1080, that’s why it was such a jolt when I used the cable that let me take a real advantage of the 4K.

Got it, yea I have a 1080p TV... Maybe 1440p? Im not sure how these things work.

I did this yesterday and its
$120 for OG PS4 plus extra $50 for the promo toward the pro and then as soon as they scan the PS4 pro the extra $30 is added on for a total of $200.

It's all built into there system so even if the employees don't know the registers won't lie. Lol

Are you sure that you didn't just use a different HDMI port on your TV? There is literally zero difference between a HDMI cord you get with your PS4 and HDMI cord of the same length front best buy or where ever.
