Cardinals red seems improved to me compared to last year but I haven't seen as conclusive evidence yet compared to the other red teams. Giants orange still seems too pale but, and pardon me for acting like it's not important because I know it is, but I feel like "at least it's orange" compared to the maroon color of the Blue Jays red where it pretty much felt like an entirely different color (Yes I know maroon is still a shade of red). Either way they've made great progress with the colors and I feel like at least in this way we can probably get EVERY color right by next year. Fingers crossed.

Also, this one hasn't been brought up yet but it was a huge one... remember the light baby blue color of the Brewers Friday throwback jerseys and caps? That was another unplayable one for me in years past. Praying that one is fixed too.

WOW what a night and day difference so much better.

But I think the Phillies and Cardinals reds were not fixed and Giants orange also still not perfect right?

Anyway hopefully all remaining team colors will be fixed for MLB The Show 19. And update the dusk sky to blue and we will really be cooking

I'd rather have CBP fixed than the red to be honest.

Guys I found a minor improvement on the Marlins 1993 throwbacks, which were in the game last year. This gives hope that they also worked on throwbacks and other jerseys that were already in the game. Also this is such a minor thing that it's nice to see because it would have been very easy for them to overlook this so the fact that they even bothered working on this tells me a lot. So here it is...

In last year's game the 93 jerseys had the MLB batterman logo on the back of the jersey which did not even exist on jerseys in 1993 but now in the Show 18 that logo has been removed.

Also, the lettering on the players name was wrong last year but has been fixed in this year's game. The name has black letters with a teal outline. The number has black numbers with a white and then teal outline.

It is nice, but I don’t understand why we are met with such resistance and have to struggle with this seemingly every year. It’s like we were heard, again, but demeaned and put down every step of the way during the process. And now they would never admit that they were wrong, but they quietly go and change it and it is night and day.

Like, this would be all so much easier if there was just a simple back and forth like there use to be. If you’re taking the time to post the issue and provide clear examples and they take the time to read it, why wouldn’t there be more productive dialog. Not reassurance that we are wrong, belittlement, and underlying animosity. Everyone just wants it to be correct.

Sadly this post feels so true.

So very frustrating.

I'm just staying thankful that the issues were addressed regardless.

As an editing geek, I just would like hat logos to not be as thick as they are sometimes. The Mets NY is skinny. In the game, it's a bit thick. I prefer that in my women, not hats. Either way, I will finally have a reason to stop playing ARK. Can't wait for this joint to drop...

Based on the past month and a half on this site, I'm not surprised at all by the lack of 'back and forth' with the devs.

A lot of that is due to the response or lack of transparency by the devs this year. The one dev interaction in this thread consisted of telling is that we were wrong only to have those things addressed instead of a simple acknowledgement.

Russ and some of the devs have become so condescending towards anyone who brings up any negativity towards the show. Every response on twitter is a sarcastic one. Like, I know you make a good game, but you’re not giving it away. Anyway.. happy we got colors fixed, but if they were a little more open toward the community, it would make their job a little easier

And yes I know there are some members who make ridiculous requests, but generally speaking, the OS MLBTS uniform/art community it pretty helpful.

So, I'm not a uni-snob or whatever the correct term is for people who are really focused on having accurate uniform details. I think you guys are totally nuts. Seriously nuts. And I mean that in a good way.

Funny thing to me is you guys go out of your way to notice really small things that most people probably don't and probably slips through quality control year-in and year-out. And when you mention it, you mostly get dismissed with the list of boilerplate responses quoted above. On top of that, you get nothing but snark and blame from certain OS brethren for somehow ruining some mythical, wonderful past relationship with the devs. As if somehow giving SDS free quality control data and feedback is somehow a bad thing, lol. A lot of folks would be playing with logos and numbers in the wrong spots, with pale/dim/incorrect shades of colors for their fave teams etc if not for this work all you uni-snobs do.

Sure, there is a right and a wrong way to make criticisms (and let's be honest some do this very, very wrong and that totally undermines the content of the message), but you all don't deserve the grief you get. In fact, I've been on the fence about a purchase, but if some of the coloring is more vivid like some of these pics are showing, that might just be enough to sell me.

I'm with you I want CBP fixed but I also want the correct red on the uniforms.

I have a bad feeling other then the upper deck right field LED board which was updated finally nothing else I bet was fixed for 18. I really hope I am wrong though.

Plus from the videos I have seen from last years Phillies games I think even the new updated right field LED board in 18 is already outdated again But at least it's still not that ugly fake LED board that just showed the innings which was never in CBP to begin with

Did the Cardinals Sunday caps make it into the game? Navy caps, red bills with a Cardinal on them. Last year they went missing after being in the game for numerous years before that. Thanks.
