Yes, but the reason the numbers are still wrong has nothing to do with it being a template, since we have seen they can move the numbers.

Move the numbers on one, and you move them for all. I figure SCEA doesn't want to spend too much time fixing something that hardcover uniform freaks like me notice all the time.

Yeah but they probably only want to use one template for whatever reason.

So they moved the number as far up as they could so it'll still look good on the jerseys with names on the back, and decent on the ones without.

But hopefully by next year if not this year, they add more than just the one template.

It seems they can move the number for all jerseys at once but not individually move them for specific jerseys. So yes, they can move the number wherever they want, but it will have to be the same spot for every jersey. Which is where the need for separate templates comes from.

Are you forgetting that last year the DID move the numbers up for the Yanks, Giants, Red Sox and other teams with no name on the back? It didn't effect the other teams.

Doesn't make sense. Why couldn't they move them up any higher to be correct? Why were they so low to begin with?

What doesn't make sense?

They use ONE template. And moved the numbers up so the ONE template could work on all jerseys.

It did effect the other teams because the numbers on those jerseys moved up too.

They just need to add more templates.

Because since there is only one template, if they moved the numbers any higher, it would interfere with the names on jerseys that have them.

See that is exactly what I have been trying to figure out for a long time.

I mean was the artist who worked on the uniforms drunk at the time they first started making MLB The Show or what ever it was called back in the beginning?

I mean did they not have screenshots of all the real MLB Uniforms when first creating this game? Why was the artist not able to make 100% replica's of what he saw in the screenshots of real MLB Uniforms?

Not buying it.

We think that SCEA is aware of many of these issues but it seems they aren't. I saw an exchange on Ramones' twitter. In the game the Yankees don't have numbers on the batting helmets and he was asked about it. Ramone wasn't aware that the Yankees have numbers on the helmets. So alot of things are wrong in game because they don't pay attention to these things.

They obviously are aware of the issues with numbers. Why else would they even make an attempt to move them last year in the first place?

I heard once from I think Russell himself that a lot of the artists who work on MLB The Show are not even baseball fans. So that I bet is another reason why we see so many mistakes with not only the uniforms but the stadiums as well

They attempted to fix them but they might not realize they didn't fix them. They just went what they thought "looked right".

If it were truly a template issue then all the numbers for all the teams in the game would have always been incredibly low but that hasn't been the case.

Yes it has. The numbers for every team have always been in the same spot. It just looks lower on jerseys without names because it's more noticeable.
