Face scans mlb the show?

Is mlb the show ever going to have face scans?

I'm taking a break from the show, and purchased nba live 18. The first nba game i bought since ps2 college hoops, or whatever the name it was. Anyway, I think nba live 18 did a good job on the scans.

I don't play rtts too often, but think this would be a nice addition.

Are you talking about face scans for the user to upload into the game when playing a single player career mode?

Exactly, i guess it can be used for other modes as well, idk.

oh ok...

I'm actually surprised they haven't added this feature and honestly I thought it was already in the game. I don't play RTTS so I really didn't know.

I mainly a franchise guy, but sometimes i like to play rtts. You should give it a try?

Really want this to happen but don’t think it will.

Definitely adds a lot to the RTTS/Single Player experience. I’m not very savvy with face editing and end up using generic faces. But if I could get an accurate face scan, it’d be so cool.

They need more accurate scans of real life MLB players. It seems like roughly half of the licensed players are generics in which the ethnicity/skin tone is correct, but that's about it.

Andrew Benintendi, Trevor Story, Adam Frazier, etc.

This has been my biggest personal pet peeve with The Show for years.

I know, but they can use existing photos. If "gameface" can work decently with limited editing abilities on the user end as with 2K Sports' NBA franchise, just imagine what could be done by a team of game developers with powerful editing software.
