To All The Roster Makers Out There - Question About Potential Attribute

Does anyone use a special calculation/stat-based website etc. to figure out "accurate" potentials for players.

All the roster makers do an exceptional job with editing the stock rosters, but the POTENTIAL attribute has always had me curious.

    Thanks,

Re: To All The Roster Makers Out There - Question About Potential Attribute

I can't really answer your question, but I'd like to add another layer to the thought process. Part of the issue with Potential in the Show is that it isn't one specific attribute. I think it is unclear what all it impacts and how it impacts a player. It isn't just a straight "players with high potential rating will progress to max out high, and low potential rated players won't ever progress beyond low ratings. A 20 year old minor leaguer and a 28 year old veteran with the same overall and same potential will not progress/regress the same. Age, overall, and potential all seem to factor together to determine a player's progression/regression path.

I tend to notice player progress more on defensive skills than offensive
